Our Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program is designed for individuals seeking to launch or elevate careers in public accounting, corporate finance, or government service. Whether you're preparing to sit for the CPA exam or aiming for leadership roles in the field, MAcc coursework provides the advanced technical, analytical, and managerial skills required to succeed in today’s complex financial landscape.
Louisiana Tech’s School of Accountancy is proud to be one of only two programs in Louisiana to hold AACSB Accounting Accreditation — a prestigious distinction earned by fewer than 200 programs worldwide. Our MAcc curriculum blends functional business knowledge with specialized accounting coursework to strengthen students' ability to analyze practices, solve problems, and lead with confidence.
With just 30 credit hours, the program allows students to efficiently meet CPA exam requirements while receiving personalized faculty support and career guidance every step of the way.
Louisiana Tech accounting alumni are recognized for their leadership, professionalism, and commitment to excellence across public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Graduates of our MAcc program pursue careers as:

- Entrepreneurs leading their own businesses
- Government professionals with agencies such as the FBI, IRS, and state regulatory bodies
