The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education prepares students to teach and care for children from pre-kindergarten through third grade during their most critical years of development. This program includes coursework in general education, child development, early literacy, classroom management, and developmentally appropriate practices, along with a year-long clinical residency that places students in an early learning classroom. Students gain practical, hands-on experience working with children, guided by experienced mentor teachers and faculty. This immersive approach ensures students are graduate ready to meet the needs of diverse learners, support family engagement, and create learning spaces where young children can thrive socially and academically.
