The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Elementary Education prepares aspiring teachers to lead classrooms for students in grades 1-5. This intensive program offers a fast-track path to earning both your teaching certification and a graduate degree. Designed for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in any field, the program combines rigorous coursework with real-world teaching experience. Students are paired with mentor teachers while earning a Practitioner License (PL3), allowing them to teach while completing certification requirements. Future educators gain skills in instructional planning, classroom management, student engagement, and differentiated learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of today’s learners.
