The Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) prepares students to make a meaningful impact on individuals and communities through evidence-based knowledge and compassionate care. This program offers specialized training through three concentrations: Child Development Specialist, Child Life, and Family Science. Students gain a deep understanding of human development across the lifespan, family systems, and the social and emotional needs of diverse populations. Through hands-on experiences, internships, and community engagement, students graduate ready to serve in education, healthcare, and human service settings — or to pursue advanced degrees.
