Advance Your Understanding of History - On Campus or Online

The history master’s degree is a flexible and affordable program that allows students to reach their goal of obtaining a graduate degree in a timely manner. The program can be completed entirely online or through a combination on-campus and online courses. The program specializes in United States history and provides students with opportunities for personal enrichment along with the analytical skills necessary for a successful career in a variety of professional fields, including education, academia, civil service, politics, and the law. The master’s degree in history serves as ideal preparation for teaching at the secondary level or for an advanced degree in a host of related academic fields, including public history. Through a challenging curriculum, it prepares students to solve complex problems, conduct research and weigh evidence, craft powerful and convincing arguments, and communicate to a wide audience.
