The Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages cultivates students’ abilities to analyze, interpret, speak, and write about the French- and Spanish-speaking worlds and offers experiential learning opportunities including study abroad. By engaging with the language directly through a wide range of literary traditions and social contexts, students develop the communication skills, historical knowledge, and cultural competency to use the language in professional, pedagogical, and everyday settings.
