Psychological Services Clinic

Supporting mental health across our ocmmunity

The Psychological Services Clinic (PSC) at Louisiana Tech University provides affordable counseling and assessment services for students, families, schools, and the wider community across North Louisiana. As a training facility for the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program, all services are delivered by advanced doctoral students under the supervision of licensed psychologists, ensuring high-quality care with a personal touch.

PSC is dedicated to improving the psychological, emotional, and interpersonal well-being of the community while also preparing the next generation of psychologists through hands-on clinical training. Thanks to the generous support of the Louisiana Tech University Foundation, the clinic is able to continue offering low-cost, accessible mental health services to those who need it most.

The Psychological Services Clinic offers a variety of high-quality clinical services at low cost. These services are subject to change with the needs of the residents of North Louisiana.

    One in four adults (approximately 61.5 million Americans) experience mental illness each year. Approximately 20 percent of youth ages 13-18 experience significant mental illness in a given year.

    Over 43 million Americans seek counseling each year in order to improve their mental health.

    There are many different types of people who seek counseling for a variety of reasons.  Sometimes it can be hard to find a way out of life’s difficulties or understand your place in the world as a child and the PSC is available to help.
