Returning Student Housing Renewal Applications
Current residents interested in living on campus and signing a 9-month lease for Academic Year 2026-2027 or a 12-month lease for Summer + Academic Year 2026-2027, may complete their application for renewal at any time between February 23rd at 1pm and March 13th at 10am. The application simply lets our office know which of our current residents are interested in participating in the lottery to attain a space on campus. It is not a guarantee that space will be available. During this timeframe, you may complete the application steps and begin searching for roommates. Roommates MUST be confirmed before you can assign a preferred roommate to live with you and before March 13th at 10am. All confirmed roommates are given the same time slot for room selection.
Time-slots for room selection are randomly assigned by our computer system and are not awarded based on classification, initial application date and time, or any other factor. We will begin emailing timeslots after the deadline of March 13th to residents who completed their renewal application.
Room selection timeslots open up between March 23rd and April 24th. A $100 booking payment must be paid by midnight on April 27th to secure the space you selected. Students will only be asked to pay and sign the lease once they have booked a room. Bookings will be deleted/canceled for any student who fails to make their $100 booking payment by the deadline of April 27th.
Please note that you are not guaranteed a specific housing assignment from year to year and may be unable to reserve your current accommodations. Any student who begins the renewal process, but doesn’t select an assignment will not be assigned a room by our office and your renewal application may be canceled.
** ALL CURRENT LEASES END ON MAY 22, 2026, AND ALL STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO CHECK OUT AT THE END OF SPRING QUARTER, EVEN IF YOU PLAN TO LIVE ON CAMPUS FOR THE SUMMER. YOU MAY RETURN TO CAMPUS AND CHECK INTO YOUR SUMMER SUITE OR 12 MONTH APARTMENT BEGINNING AT 9AM ON MONDAY, JUNE 1st. THIS INCLUDES ALL SPECIAL GROUPS AS WELL.
Residents who do not pay the booking payment by midnight on April 27th, 2026, will be considered an incoming student and must reapply for on-campus housing, beginning June 1st, which is a $250 non-refundable application fee. Anyone interested in canceling their 9-month or 12-month lease MUST do so by 5pm on May 22, 2026.
RETURNING RESERVATION SCHEDULE (for current students who live on campus only)
February 23rd (1pm) – March 13th (10am): Current residents may begin a renewal application and begin searching for roommate(s).
*March 23rd (1pm) – March 27th(10am): Residents who began a 12 month lease will be able to select a booking during this time. Please check your email for your specific date and time.*If you apply for a 12 month lease and select a room in a 12 month apartment, but later adjust your 12 month lease to a 9 month lease, your assignment will be deleted and you will be responsible for selecting a new assignment in a 9 month apartment.
April 13th (1pm) – April 24th (10am): Residents who began a 9 month lease and/or summer application will be able to select a booking during this time. Please check your email for your specific date and time.
DEADLINE: April 27, 2026 at midnight: A $100 booking payment must be paid by midnight on April 27th to secure the space you selected. Bookings will be deleted/canceled for any student who fails to make their $100 booking payment by the deadline of April 27, 2026.
