Accounting is more than numbers — it's the foundation for smart, ethical, and strategic decision-making in business. Our AACSB-accredited School of Accountancy prepares students for dynamic careers in public accounting, corporate finance, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies.
With the increasing complexity of today’s global economy, the demand for analytical, tech-savvy, and innovative accounting professionals has never been higher. Our program ensures you're ready.
As an accounting major, you will build deep knowledge in financial and managerial accounting, auditing, assurance, taxation, regulation, data analytics, accounting information systems, business strategy, law, and ethics. You’ll also develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills that set you apart in the job market and prepare you to lead across any industry.
As one of the oldest and most respected accounting programs in the state, our graduates are leaders in the industry, managing top global companies, family businesses, government agencies, and prestigious CPA firms, including the Big Four and regional accounting firms.
In addition to the four-year Bachelor of Science in Accounting, students can continue into our Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program, a fully integrated, five-year path accelerated through Concurrent Enrollment. Students with fewer than 30 hours left in their undergraduate program can begin MAcc coursework while completing their bachelor’s degree, saving time and accelerating their professional goals.
