Center for Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitation Sciences

Housed in the Biomedical Engineering Building, the Center for Biomedical Engineering and Rehabilitation Science (CBERS) is dedicated to advancing biomedical research and technology while actively engaging in cutting-edge research including neural engineering, BioMEMS, and nanobiotechnology. With state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities, CBERS promotes collaboration with academic institutions, medical centers, and industry partners both regionally and globally.
Forest Products Innovation

Forest Products Innovation Center

The Forest Products Innovation Center (FPIC) is an initiative dedicated to advancing the forestry industry and solving challenges associated with the timber industry. FPIC aims to foster collaboration among academic programs in forestry, agriculture, biology, engineering, and science. Housing wood processing and testing labs as well as chemical engineering labs, the diverse work will give students the skills needed for the future innovative workforce and meet the demands of a global economy.

IfM Lab

Institute for Micromanufacturing

The Institute for Micromanufacturing (IfM) is a premier research center dedicated to developing innovative multiscale structures, devices, and systems. IfM provides education and training to future scientists and engineers by fostering a collaborative environment and offering a wide range of services to academic and industrial users. The IfM has a specialized lab with tools to study the detailed properties of materials, such as their size, texture, and chemical makeup.

LTARC

Louisiana Tech Applied Research Corporation

The Louisiana Tech Applied Research Corporation (LTARC) is a non-profit organization that collaborates with government, non-profit, and private sectors to tackle complex national issues. The organization focuses on developing advanced cyber and energy-related technologies to support federal, state, and local governments, as well as industry and public needs.

Trenchless Technology

Trenchless Technology Center

The Trenchless Technology Center (TTC) is a cooperative research center for academics, government, and industry. The Center’s mission is to advance trenchless technology by serving as an independent source of knowledge, research, and education in the field. Trenchless technology includes various methods used for installing and rehabilitating underground utility systems with minimal surface disruption and destruction resulting from excavation.
